GPV partners with American firm East/West Manufacturing

The Danish EMS provider GPV Group has entered into a strategic partnership with the American company East/West Manufacturing Enterprises (EWME) to expand its production flexibility and meet the needs of its clients in the United States and Mexico. The agreement, effective December 12, 2025, aims to address growing demand for regionally-aligned production amid changing tariff regimes and regulatory requirements, including Buy America and Build America (BABA) provisions and the USMCA. EWME, headquartered in Austin, Texas, operates US production sites. Through this partnership, the two companies will collaborate to offer clients access to both domestic US production and lower-cost manufacturing in regions eligible for USMCA benefits. GPV's CEO, Bo Lybæk, stated this partnership reflects increased client commitment following US administration tariff announcements in early 2025, with many clients reassessing production sites to ensure compliance with US sourcing rules and limit international trade risks
