Gocar Electronic expands plant in Central Europe

At the Evertiq Expo in Krakow earlier this year, Juan Docio Gomez, Expansion Director of the Spanish semiconductor distributor Gocar Electronic, outlined the company's international growth plans and provided insights into current market developments. Gocar Electronic, founded 45 years ago, now serves customers worldwide—about half of them in Europe. Gomez emphasized that Krakow and the surrounding region offer particularly attractive growth prospects. The 2025 Evertiq Expo Krakow focused on defense and cybersecurity, themes closely linked to Gocar Electronic's business. Gomez noted that Spain is currently experiencing strong growth in the defense sector, with long-standing partners seeing increased demand due to the European market situation. He described the broader Spanish electronics market as mixed, with defense and rail performing well, while telecommunications, lighting, and industry face challenges. Adapting flexibly to global changes is crucial, he stressed. The next Evertiq Expo will be held in Warsaw on October 22, 2026
