Flex opens new plant in Hungary's ZalaZONE tech park

Flex has opened a new production facility in the ZalaZONE InnoTech complex in Zalaegerszeg, western Hungary. This investment marks another step in the company's expansion of its European business for electric and hybrid vehicle components. According to Flex's LinkedIn announcement, the new plant covers approximately 10,000 square meters and will produce computing platforms for software-defined vehicles as well as high-voltage components for next-generation e-mobility solutions. The company emphasizes that the new site aims to support the transformation of European mobility, particularly by increasing the availability of key components for the growing e-mobility sector.
