CODICO appoints Walter Mayer as VP Sales Passive

CODICO has announced that Walter Mayer will assume the position of Vice President Sales Passive effective January 1, 2026. Mayer will assume overall responsibility for sales and product management in the area of passive components. He began his career at CODICO and possesses extensive leadership experience in sales and distribution marketing. Stints at companies such as Renesas and Rubycon have further honed his market knowledge in the international semiconductor and components business. In his new role, he aims to further develop the sales strategy, drive international growth, and increasingly address customers' complete application requirements. He emphasized that CODICO offers a unique concept with design-oriented customer support, technical expertise, and selected supply partnerships. The goal is to relieve customers in product development while enabling suppliers to focus on technology and manufacturing, with modern logistics processes creating additional competitive advantages. Mayer succeeds Thomas Jell, who is gradually reducing his working hours in view of his upcoming retirement. Jell, Vice President Sales Passive since 2013, looks back on over 30 years of CODICO experience and will continue to be available to the company as a Field Application Engineer Power Conversion.
