Nvidia invests $2 billion in Synopsys

Nvidia and Synopsys announced an expansion of their strategic partnership on Monday, aiming to integrate accelerated computing and AI into the engineering workflows of several industrial sectors. The multi-year agreement covers GPU-accelerated simulation, agentic AI technologies, and digital twin development, and includes a $2 billion capital investment from Nvidia into Synopsys. The partnership is designed to address growing engineering challenges, development costs, and time-to-market pressures in fields ranging from semiconductors and aerospace to automotive and industrial systems.
