Neways and Nearfield launch strategic cooperation

Neways Electronics International N.V. has entered into a strategic partnership with Nearfield Instruments. The goal is to collaborate on the development and industrialization of electronic modules and control units for the QUADRA system – an automated inline 3D scanning probe metrology platform for semiconductor manufacturing. Neways has been supplying components for the Nearfield project since 2024, including control and sensor electronics for the machine's core. This cooperation is intended to accelerate the production readiness of the QUADRA platform and provide European manufacturers with high-precision process control. Neways contributes its proven expertise in areas such as power electronics, data and control systems, and microelectronics. Nearfield Instruments views the partnership as a key contribution to strengthening Europe's role in the global semiconductor market
