Scanfil acquires MB Elettronica – closing expected January 2026

Scanfil expects to complete the acquisition of the Italian EMS provider MB Elettronica in January 2026. The company confirmed that all necessary regulatory approvals are in place and the remaining conditions for the transaction are expected to be fulfilled shortly. Despite a fire on October 17, 2025, MB Elettronica reports that operational activities continue largely as normal, and the incident has not significantly impacted the transaction's timeline. As one of Europe's largest listed EMS providers, with a 2024 revenue of approximately €780 million, Scanfil is strengthening its position in key segments such as industrial electronics, energy and cleantech applications, and Medtech and Life-Science through this integration. The acquisition also expands Scanfil's manufacturing and development resources in Europe, enhancing its competitiveness in the global EMS market and its capacity to meet rising demand for outsourcing services and resilient supply chains
