Kratos moves Microwave Electronics Division to new Jerusalem facility

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has opened a new facility for its Microwave Electronics Division (MED) in Jerusalem, consolidating its existing operations into a purpose-built facility within the Gav Yam Group's high-tech complex near the Hebrew University. The new 5,600-square-meter site, featuring 1,850 square meters of cleanroom space, is designed to increase capacity for high-power microwave and RF technologies used in missiles, radar systems, satellites, and electronic warfare. According to MED President Yonah Adelman, the expansion, which follows the recent acquisition of Orbit Technologies, will enable faster and more efficient delivery of next-generation systems and underscores Kratos's commitment to Israel as an innovation hub, serving as a central manufacturing hub for the company's microwave and digital subsystems
