Fabric8Labs gets $50M to expand US manufacturing capacity

Fabric8Labs, the developer of Electrochemical Additive Manufacturing (ECAM) technology, has secured $50 million in funding to expand its US production sites. This investment will enable the company to produce up to 22 million components annually in the future. The funding round was led by NEA and Intel Capital, with additional investment from Lam Capital, TDK Ventures, and SE Ventures, as well as new backers including Marunouchi Innovation Partners, SK hynix, Ericsson Ventures, Masco Ventures, and Toppan Global Venture Partners. The capital will be used to expand manufacturing infrastructure, increase production capacity, and build new teams in manufacturing, design, quality, and process development.
