Croatian police successfully use Polish SmartEye systems

The Croatian police have more SmartEye ST-1 systems, produced by PolCam Systems, a company belonging to the WB Group, at their disposal. In total, nearly one hundred new speed cameras were delivered to the Balkans in 2025 and integrated with the national surveillance system. Croatia has received the final batch this year of SmartEye ST-1 automatic traffic surveillance systems. The devices were developed at PolCam Systems, the WB Group's competence center responsible for road safety technologies. The equipment is already being used by the Croatian police and fully cooperates with the central management and ticketing system. In 2025, Croatian services received nearly one hundred SmartEye ST-1 speed cameras along with additional equipment. This is a continuation of the cooperation that began in 2019 when PolCam Systems won the tender to supply the first fifty portable tripod-mounted devices. Since then, the Polish systems have been consistently implemented for traffic surveillance in Croatia.
