Saab invests $10 million in space firm Pythom

Defense and security company Saab has made what it calls a strategic investment in the Swedish space technology company Pythom. The company develops lightweight space rockets that can be rapidly deployed and are designed to make access to space more flexible, cost-effective, and resilient. Pythom, which operates in both Sweden and the US, focuses on simplicity, speed, and cost-efficiency – qualities that, according to Saab, align with the company's long-term vision for distributed and robust launch capability. The $10 million investment makes Saab the lead investor in Pythom's current funding round.
