Cadence completes acquisition of Secure-IC

Cadence has completed the previously announced acquisition of Secure-IC, a provider of embedded security IP, security solutions, and tools and services for security evaluation. By combining Cadence's IP and subsystem expertise with Secure-IC's leading embedded cybersecurity solutions, Cadence can address the growing demand for robust embedded security technologies in various industries, including automotive, data centers, aerospace and defense, mobile, IoT, and consumer electronics. "This acquisition reinforces Cadence's commitment to providing comprehensive system solutions that accelerate our customers' time-to-market while meeting increasing security and regulatory requirements in global markets," the company wrote in a press release. Secure-IC's customer base includes companies such as SK Hynix Memory Solutions America, Synaptics, Silicon Labs, and Faraday Technology, covering key industries worldwide, including automotive, data centers, mobile, aerospace and defense, networking, IoT, and consumer electronics. Secure-IC is headquartered in Rennes, France, and operates eight additional offices and research centers worldwide
