According to a study made by Venture Outsource, Flextronics biggest customer in 2007 was Sony Ericsson. 20% of Flextronics’ revenue in fiscal year 2007 was represented by Sony Ericsson.

This is an increase by 5 % from 2002 when Sony Ericsson represented 15% of Flextronics’ revenue. Flextronics major customers include Sony Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard and Nortel. Hewlett-Packard and Nortel represents close to 10% each of the Flextronic’s revenue. Some other of Flextronics’ other customers are Motorola, Casio, Cisco, Dell, Kodak, Kyocera, Microsoft, Sun, and Xerox, Venture Outsource reports. In fiscal year 2007 64% of Flextronics revenue came from its top ten customers. Flextronics estimates that combined with Solectron, less than 60% of its revenue will come from its top ten customers, Venture Outsource said. Among newly acquired Solectron’s major customers is Cisco, which represented approximately 20% of Solectron’s revenue in fiscal year 2006. Nortel is also one of Solectron’s major customers. Other customers to Solectron are Alcatel-Lucent, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, NEC, and Teradyne according to the Venture Outsource study. Click here to read the full report at VentureOutsource.com.
