Summit 1 Technology creates new jobs

The company was created last spring by a management buy-out from the former Japanese-owned Mitsumi UK. Now Summit 1 Technology is creating 18 new jobs and moving into new markets. Next month the company plans to launch a new production line. The company currently employs 67 people and have taken on 14 staff since the buy-out last May. The production line, which amounts to investment of something like £130,000, should be fully operational by the end of February and will provide a major boost to the expansion plans, Shieldsgazette reports.
