Panasonic Electric Works opens<br>new logistics centre
Panasonic Electric Works put its new logistics centre in Pfaffenhofen/Germany into operation.
The existing high-tech logistics centre was expanded as planned with an automatic warehouse after a construction time of only after nine months. The warehouse with a height of 25 m has room for about 4,000 pallets for more than 13,000 different products. The new logistics centre will serve about 50,000 customers in whole Europe. The other existing stocks in Europe will now be moved step by step to Pfaffenhofen. In future delivery of standard types in whole Europe will be possible within 48 hours.
