GE axe 29 jobs at Finnish X-ray unit
General Electric Healthcare, an arm of the US engineering giant, is cutting 29 jobs in its Helsinki X-ray unit.
GE Healthcare earlier said it would cut 70 jobs at the unit. GE Healthcare will gradually closing down the X-ray unit because of the shift from analogue imaging to digital diagnostics. GE Healthcare employs about 1100 people in Finland.
