Heavy increase in revenue for<br>Czech cable provider
Kablo Elektro doubled its profit to Kc303 million in 2006.
The Kablo Elektro Vrchlabi group, owned by Danish NKT Cables, raised its profit to Kc303m in 2006 from Kc146m a year earlier. Revenues reached Kc5.4bn last year. Kablo's clients include companies CEZ, E.ON and Skoda Auto, for instance.
The Kablo Elektro group consists of Kablo Elektro Vrchlabi and its subsidiary Kablo Elektro Velke Mezirici. It employs around 1,100 staff.
