Foxconn to manufacture Dell desktops
Dell has reportedly released complete desktop manufacturing orders to EMS provider Foxconn.
Dell will according to unnamed sources place large complete desktop manufacturing orders at Foxconn. According to the same sources the volume shipments will start in 2008. The release of these orders is part of Dell's cost-cutting plan. Lay-offs will probably follow this outsourcing initiative.
