Each year, Germany-based VdL (Verband der Leiterplattenindustrie e.V.) and ZVEI (Zentralverband der Elektrotechnik und Elektronikindustrie e.V.) research the annual PCB production in Europe.
According to VdL and ZVEI, the nation of France was home to 51 PCB makers during 2003, with 2383 employees and total production volume of €243.6 million (8.4% of European total production value).
