Elcoteq names new Marketing Boss

Barth brings marketing experience in the automotive, plastics, and financial services industries to direct Elcoteq's focus on total customer orientation from design through a product's lifecycle. Prior to joining Elcoteq, Barth spent eight years in marketing leadership positions with General Electric in Germany as well as technology companies in the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. He is a graduate of the University of Federal Armed Forces, Hamburg, Germany, where he studied business administration focusing on marketing. "Elcoteq's global nature requires a director of corporate strategy and marketing who is familiar with taking care of customer relations in all areas of the world and someone who understands the operations and requirements of technology companies," said Mr. Vesa Keranen, senior vice president, sales and business development of Elcoteq. "Carsten will coordinate activities with Elcoteq's Americas, Europe, and APAC geographical areas from his base in Elcoteq's international office in Switzerland."
