Nexans Romania raises 3 MEUR

According to local media sources Cable manufacturer Nexans Romania has increased its share capital by 3 million euros.
The French group Nexans also owns Electrocontact, which is active on the Romanian market and produces automotive harnesses in two facilities located in Santana, Timis county. Nexans manufactures copper cabling for communication networks, special data transmission cables and submarine power cables. The company is headquartered in Paris and controls 82 production facilities on five continents. The group last year posted a 5.4 billion-euro turnover and a 108 million-euro net profit.
