Sanmina-SCI Amends Board Election Rules
Electronics manufacturing services company Sanmina-SCI Corp. said its board named Wayne Shortridge to the newly created position of lead independent director.
Also on Monday, the board approved a change in the vote standard for directors from a plurality to a majority of votes cast in uncontested elections. That means the number of votes cast in favor of the uncontested director must exceed the number cast against the director.
