Siemens near 300m-euro in Romania

German group Siemens posted a turnover worth 290.3 million euros in Romania in the 2006 fiscal year ending September 30, a 21% increase against the same time last year. The growth seen for all activities that Siemens conducts here exceeded the group's global growth in 2006, which stood at 16%. "Given the integration into the European Union, the local market offers many opportunities, especially in the infrastructure field," said Adrian Baicusi, general manager of Siemens Romania.
