Schneider Electric acquires APC

Both French Schneider Electric and American Power Conversion manufactures equipment för power supply and uninterruptable power supplies. Schneider also manufactures a number of different products such ass transformers, power switches and RFID products. The merged companies are expecting to cut costs by aligning their R&D operations, sales and services.
