Solectron to close plant in Scotland

Solectron announced on Friday that the EMS provider will close its Dunfermline fab.
Solectron announced on Friday that the global EMS provider will close its manufacturing site in Dunfermline, Scotland. Already when presenting the quarterly results the management at the company announced and flagged for coming restructurings. The Solectron Dunfermline fab in Scotland today employs about 440 workers and all of these are going to be "affected in one way or another", according to the company. The company is expected to release more information about this closure on Friday.
