Samsung plans plasma TV plant in Hungary

Samsung SDI Hungary Kft plans to build a €72 million plasma television module plant in the outskirts of Budapest, Hungary.
The 20,000 square meter plant will produce modules and will create 550 jobs, local media reports. Samsung plans to complete the plant by March 2007. Samsung expects more suppliers to move in nearby the new plant. Samsung currently has four other units in Hungary.
