Cache Creek Industries buys Automated Business Power

ABP designs and manufactures advanced, field deployable, integrated power and C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence) systems for a wide range of communication equipment deployed in command post, tactical operations center, shelter, vehicle, aircraft and shipboard applications. The company represents Cache Creek’s second acquisition in the defense electronics sector. In a press release, newly appointed ABP Chairman Dean Douglas said, “ABP’s mission critical products are known throughout the industry as being of the highest quality and reliability. The company’s culture of operational excellence has enabled ABP to meet the most demanding needs of its blue-chip customers for decades.” Douglas also serves as a partner at Cache Creek. Jake Blumenthal, the Cache Creek Partner who led the transaction, added, “The ABP investment represents Cache Creek’s second acquisition in the defense electronics sector in less than a year.
