RF Industries snaps up cable assembly manufacturer C Enterprises

Publicly-traded RF Industries Ltd., a national producer of interconnect products and systems has acquired C Enterprises, a privately-owned manufacturer of cable assembly and connectivity solutions to telecommunications and data communications distributors.

The deal is schedule to close March 15. In a 2019 Q1 fiscal earnings conference call held today, a company spokesperson stated of the merger that C Enterprises was “scalable and complimentary to our business,” had little impact on the RF balance sheet, and that the amount of the sale was not disclosed because it is “not material to the interest of our business.” The same company spokesperson did comment that there is a “good possibility of additional acquisitive moves as the year goes on,” as part of a multi-year remodeling of the company. C Enterprises employs 70 people and is located in Vista, California, in North San Diego County. RF Industries designs and manufactures a broad range of interconnect products across diversified, growing markets including wireless/wireline telecom, data communications and industrial. Products include RF connectors, coaxial cables, wire harnesses, fiber optic cables and custom cabling. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California with operations in New York and Connecticut.
