PCB industry on growth path in October 2017

The increase compared to October 2016 was 11.2 percent, according to the German trade association ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems. Cumulatively over the first ten months, sales increased by nine percent. Order intake has also increased. Compared to September 2017, figures increased with 6.5 percent. YoY, order intake increased by 9.1 percent. YTD, order intake increased with 16.1 percent (when compared with the corresponding time period of 2016). Increases were reported by all companies (small, mid-sized and large). The book-to-bill ratio rose slightly to 0.93. The number of employees increased by 8.7 percent (compared to October 2016).
