LG.Philips invest`s EUR 429 mln in Poland

The plant will produce liquid crystal display (LCD) television panels. According to Poland's foreign-investment agency, PAIiIZ, the LCD plant is one of the biggest investments in manufacturing in Central and Eastern Europe. The company is looking to tap the continent's fast- growing market for LCD panels.
