The tyre maker Bridgestone claims that they have developed the world´s thinnest electronic paper.

Bridgestone has developed a display of electronic paper built on the ELP technology, Electronic Liquid Powder. The paper is 230 mm of size and has a thickness of 0.29 mm. The ELP technology enables the picture to be retained even when the power is turned off. The display is all in plastic and features fine sharpness and good visibility even when the display is bent. This new display will be shown in California this week.
