PCB market is booming in March 2015

The increase amounted to ten percent (over the long-term average) and 2.6 percent compared to March 2014. The total revenue for the first quarter remained 1.7 percent below the same period last year. Order intake soared sequencially with 27.0 percent and with 11.5 percent compared to March 2014. This marks the highest order intake for a March since 2010. This was due - primarily - to orders from industrial electronics customers. However, growth was also reported by PCB manufacturers producing for special applications and automotive electronics. The order intake throughout Q1 decreased by eight percent YoY. The book-to-bill ratio stood at a value of 1.05. The number of employees increased YoY by almost five percent.
