Google's CFO to retire
Google's Chief Financial Officer, Patrick Pichette, has decided it is time for him to leave the company. Pichette joined Google in 2008.
The company expects to find a replacement for Pichette within half a year. When exactly Pichette's retirement will take effect has still not been determined, but he will assist Google in finding his replacement, according to a Reuters report.
“To be clear, I am still here. I wish to transition over the coming months but only after we have found a new Googley CFO and help him/her through an orderly transition, which will take some time,” Patrick Pichette wrote in a memo on his Google+ page.
