Asteelflash to close its Owego plant
Asteelflash will close its Owego, NY, facility by the end of june, resulting in the layoff of the facility's 34 employees.
The French EMS-provider filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice at the state Department of Labor. According to the WARN notice, the company will close the plant due to economic reasons on June 27, which also means that the facility's 34 employees will be made redundant.
