Valor improves integration with Siplace
Valor Computerized Systems announced full support and integration with all SIPLACE Pro Siemens Placement Systems for optimized electronics assembly line throughput.
Commenting on the new integration, Julian Coates, Valor's executive vice president for marketing and product management, said, "The seamless integration between Valor's Trilogy 5000 advanced assembly line engineering solution and the powerful SIPLACE Pro open interface delivers tremendous cost savings to Siemens customers by generating the fastest route from data load to optimized machine program generation. Siemens customers will enjoy reduced NPI cycle time, increased shop floor productivity, and quicker machine programming and set-up times." "Siemens is one of the world's leading manufacturing equipment suppliers and through our close and long-standing partnership we are able to deliver the best level integration for our Trilogy 5000 customers, when they need it," Julian added. Now Siemens users can benefit from the powerful functionality within Trilogy 5000 including fast and accurate CAD/BOM load, stencil optimization, rotation neutralization, first-rate machine/line optimization and balancing, Virtual Sticky Tape (VST) which significantly reduces NPI debug time, and advanced grouping functions, essential for low/mid volume high-mix environments. Through SIPLACE Pro, the steps to final program generation are fewer, faster and with seamless interaction between Trilogy 5000 and the Siemens machines.
