Xiaomi and Tencent to partner?

Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Xiaomi Tech is rumoured to partner with Tencent. The latter would - as media reports suggest - invest USD 2 billion in the manufacturer. Nothing has officially been confirmed, but Xiaomi has invited Chinese media to a press event next week. All of the reports however point out that the phrase used in the announcement xi shi is almost always used to refer to weddings, suggesting that a “marriage” of some sort is on the horizon
