SPEA installs Flying Probe at MJS Designs
MJS Designs of Phoenix, Arizona has selected a new SPEA 4060 dual sided flying probe system to replace their existing SPEA 4040 flying probe platform
Building on the SPEA linear motor, linear optical encoder technology of the 4040 systems, the configuration of this 4060 includes dual sided moving probes to allow PCBA’s to be tested without the need to flip the board for re-test on the opposite side. In addition, simultaneous probing on both sides of the PCBA can provide higher test coverage. With limited test access becoming more prevalent in today’s designs, the ability to target both sides of a board provides more flexibility in order to meet specific customer requirements.
