Foxconn builds new plant in Henan (China)

This will be the second production facility for industrial robots; the first is located in Shanxi, northern China. Local officials confirmed for regional media that the group is currently surveying the region for a possible location for a new manufacturing facility. A letter of intent - which is said to have been signed already - apparently shows plans for the production of automation equipment, precision instruments and bearings, and industrial robots. Foxconn has not commented the report.
