Bae Systems receives orders for head mounted displays

The display, also known as a Remote Eyepiece Display Imager, is able to fit over eyeglass frames or under visors, as well as being compatible with military night sensors. Bae Systems said in a press release that more than 3,000 of the devices have been fielded to date and that the order represents the largest ever contract award by the U.S. Army for this type of deveice.
