Simclar to be sold?
The administrators for Simclar have reportedly found a buyer for the insolvent company.
On June 27, 2011, Deloitte - John Reid and Bill Dawson - was appointed administrator for Simclar Group Limited, Simclar International Limited, Simclar Interconnect Technologies Limited, Simclar Seating Technologies Limited.
Now, according to a report from Scotsman.com, it seems that the joint administrators have found a buyer: Greenfold Partners.
70 of the 200 jobs lost at Simclar could be saved.
