Sanmina-SCI Kenosha awarded ISO 13485 certification

Sanmina-SCI's Kenosha (Wisconsin / USA) facility has been awarded ISO 13485 certification for medical device manufacturing.

"Manufacturing reliable and safe medical devices is critical to everyone—the doctors and hospitals who utilize these products and the patients who benefit from them," said Bill Adams Vice President and Plant Manager of Sanmina-SCI's Kenosha Operations. "Earning the ISO 13485 certification shows our commitment to produce the best quality devices for the medical market and represents a significant accomplishment towards our strategy to support medical customers located in the Midwest." "Receiving this certification for medical device manufacturing opens new opportunities for customers looking for quality solutions in the Midwest region," stated Frank Morrone, Executive Vice President of Sanmina-SCI's New Product Introduction, North American Operations. The Kenosha operation manufactures defibrillators and dialysis equipment as well as printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies used in medical devices.
