The world's PCB manufacturers increased production by 19% in 2010, compared to results for 2009.
Worldwide production of printed circuit boards (PCBs) grew by 19% over 2009 to nearly USD 55 billion, according to the World PCB Production Report for the Year 2010, recently released by IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries.

Approximately 2'600 PCB fabricators produced an estimated USD 54.772 billion in 2010. PCB production grew in all regions in 2010 as the industry recovered from recession.

Production grew by:

- 6.9% in North America
