Panasonic to shed 162 employees in Slovakia
Panasonic plans to lay off 162 employees at its facility in eastern Slovakia.
The main reason for the lay-offs in due to the decline in sales and significant drop in prices of Blu-ray on the European market. Currently the facility has 890 employees.
