Thales awards contract to CTS UK
Elkhart-based (Indiana/ USA) EMS-provider CTS has been awarded a three year manufacturing contract by Thales e-Security based in Long Crendon, UK.
CTS’ Scotland facility will provide Thales with turnkey services, including printed circuit board (PCB) and mid-plane assemblies and high level integration for data encryption devices. Production begins in the fourth quarter 2010.
CTS is also providing Thales with extensive test services, having established a new temperature-controlled soak room and vibration test. Board assembly will also include potting for environmental protection.
