Flextronics scoops up low-gross margin orders from HP
Taiwan-based manufacturers have reportedly refused to accept low-margin orders from Hewlett Packard.
Quanta Computer, Compal Electronics and Wistron, all three companies Taiwan-based notebook manufacturers, are said to have refused low-gross margin manufacturing orders from Hewlett-Packard (HP) for 2011, reports DigiTimes. These orders apparently ended up at EMS-giant Flextronics.
