Foxconn secures more orders from Dell
US PC manufacturer Dell has reportedly increased its manufacturing orders to EMS-giant Foxconn.
The Taiwan-based EMS-provider Foxconn is said to ship around 5 million units in 2011 for Dell. This would be a significant increase to the shipment of 1 million notebooks forecasted for 2010. Other manufacturing partners will also benefit from increased notebook orders, however not on the same scale as Foxconn, reports DigiTimes.
