Samsung secures iPad supplier deal

Samsung Electronics is said to start volume shipments of the 9.7’’ iPad panels in July. Monthly shipments are said to reach a volume of between 300’000-500’000 units, reports DigiTimes. Another South Korean electronics giant—LG Display—is said to have shipped between 800’000 and 900’000 units in May alone, steadily increasing from the beginning of the year.
