Armed robbers - posing as police officers - hijacked silver Ford Transit carrying £400,000 worth of computer equipment.

The robbers set up a checkpoint near Heathrow and stopped the van shortly before midnight Monday last week; taking around £400 000 worth of high-value computer equipment. Both - driver and passenger - were sprayed with CS gas and forced out of the vehicle, according to Uxbridge Gazette. The investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Ian Wilson from the Metropolitan Police's Operation Grafton, was cited in saying that "this was a well-organised [sic] aimed at a specific vehicle".
