Intel saves 50 Freescale jobs in Toulouse
Intel is said to take on some 50 engineers from Freescale when it opens the new R&D centre in Toulouse, France.
Freescale had announced in April that it would close down its operations in Toulouse by the end of the year, laying off around 240 staff, French media reports. Christian Estrosi, French Minister of Industry, welcomed the decision.
