Mexican electronics industry sees recovery
Mexico’s Jalisco province sees a slight recovery within the electronics manufacturing industry – after the downturn and subsequent crisis.
One of the companies – automotive supplier Continental – reported a sales drop of 30% (instead of an anticipated 40% drop). The company has laid off almost 1000 employees during the course of the year, but was able to re-hire almost 400 of them.
